Our Story

For some time I had a burden for young girls being emotionally and sexually abused. However, when I witnessed a young lady being trafficked on the Virginia Beach oceanfront, the Lord impressed upon my heart to open The Butterfly House to rescue girls from the brutal exploitation and sexual slavery.

Our Mission

The Butterfly House is a faith based organization providing a safe home for women rescued from sex trafficking. Our vision is to also build a safe home for boys. Our mission is to educate and bring awareness about sex trafficking through participation in the community. Awareness can help prevent the atrocities taking place and defend and protect the innocent. Our mission is to provide a safe haven filled with love and compassion to ensure wholeness is manifested in their lives.
