A Safe Home for Ladies Who Are Rescued From
Sex Trafficking

The Butterfly House is a non-profit 501(c)(3) faith based home accepting ladies who are eighteen and older. Currently we are nationally accredited for ages eighteen to twenty-one. We are seeking national accreditation to provide our home for minors, ages eleven to seventeen, beginning this Spring.

Our Mission

We see each woman as a mission field, where each one will be given an opportunity to learn to love God, to love and respect herself, and to love and forgive others. It is our earnest desire that each lady will develop to her fullest potential.

We have a beautiful 7,500 square foot home nestled in a country setting. Our ladies are enjoying agriculture, art, music, equestrian therapy; and are receiving medical and dental care, as well as, counseling from a board certified counselor. They will also have the opportunity to receive their diploma and either continue to study for a higher education or study a career choice for entrepreneurship. Most importantly, they will be introduced to the amazing love of Jesus Christ and receive the inner healing of His love, forgiveness, redemption and freedom.

A very special thank you to the Safe House Project and Hope Doe for use of this video.

Virginia State Delegate Jason Miyares

It was an honor and pleasure to meet with Virginia State Delegate Miyares on Thursday. I am very grateful for his compassion to help bring awareness of the need to protect trafficked children, who have been rescued in the Hampton Roads area. So excited his bill passed to place the Human Trafficking Hot Line number in ABC stores. This is just an amazing accomplishment!

Women are Meant to be Loved, Not Sold

Sex Slavery is heart-wrenching and real. Traffickers, often pimps, use threat or force, coercion, abduction, fraud, deception, abuse of power, payments to person in control of the victim to make profit. Giving no care to the victims well being or future.

You can Help Us provide a loving, nurturing, and safe home for these women. Join us in providing for our Recovery Home and invest in a life.

Freedom

“The Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”  Isaiah 61:1

Self Esteem

If I could give you one gift, I would give you the ability to see yourself as I see you, so you could see how truly special you are — Unknown

Liberation

“I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity.”  Jeremiah 29:14

"Alone we can do nothing. But if we all come together and with the power of God, we CAN make a difference. Please consider checking out The Butterfly House and donating! Help make this dream a reality!"
